Megan Boszko, DVM, DACVS-SA
Dr. Boszko is a native of East Brunswick, New Jersey. She attended Rutgers University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science with a minor in Equine Science. During her undergraduate studies, she volunteered as a veterinary assistant and worked with a therapeutic riding program for children with special needs, fostering her passion for patient care and client support.
Dr. Boszko went on to earn her veterinary degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. Following graduation, she returned to New Jersey to complete a one-year rotating internship at Garden State Veterinary Specialists (GSVS), where she continued her training with a surgical internship.
In 2020, Dr. Boszko joined Chesapeake Veterinary Surgical Specialists (CVSS) as a surgical intern and remained with the practice as she advanced her training. She began her three-year surgical residency with CVSS in 2022 and, after completing her residency in 2025, continued on as a staff surgeon. In 2026, Dr. Boszko passed the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS) board examination and carries diplomate status.
Outside of work, Dr. Boszko enjoys hiking, fishing, and snowboarding. She also loves spending time with her Instagram-famous cat, Cheeto. A retired Champion Irish Step Dancer, she hopes to one day share her passion for dance by teaching.
