Britta Larsson, DVM, CVH, CVA, CVFT, CCRP
Dr. Britta Larsson grew up in Sweden and moved to the US when she was in high school. She graduated veterinary school from Oklahoma State University in 2015, and then moved to MD for an equine veterinary internship. She ended up staying in MD after meeting her fiancé. After this she transitioned into small animal general practice. Dr. Larsson has always had a passion for sports medicine and geriatric care, and she really enjoys client education.
Dr. Larsson became interested in alternative therapies when western medications weren’t an option for her own dog, Zoe. She’s been practicing acupuncture and herbal medicine since 2013, and holds certifications in both modalities (CVA & CVH) through the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Larsson is also certified in food therapy (CVFT) through the Chi Institute. She completed the University of Tennessee’s Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner program, receiving her credentials (CCRP) in 2021. Dr. Larsson lives in Baltimore county with her fiancé, dog, cats, chickens, and horses.
When she’s not working, Dr. Larsson can be found on the trails with her horse and dog. She’s very excited to bring her integrative modalities and to be part of the CVSS team!
